How do you do it?

I need you're help, lovely blogger people! I'm currently looking for a Camera and am in a bit of pickle as to what I should get so the purpose of this blog is pretty simple, to find out what brands/models you use and what you recommend. I've looked at a few review sites but wouldn't mind getting a few more opinions and seeing as you all display such beautiful snaps in your blogs I thought this would be the perfect place to seek such advise.

So... what kind of camera do you have/use/recommend?

  7. for a bargain, get a diana camera! they take the most beautiful film pictures. i also have a nikon d40 which is one of the cheaper versions of nikons but it gets the job done everytime!

hope you have a lovely day!

  10. I don't think you need a fancy camera to take great photos that are interesting for your blog.
My boyfriend has always had a point & shoot sony cybershot which have been good - he just kept upgrading to the latest version of the cybershot but the most recent one is a bit fiddly and the zoom has jammed a fair bit.
For my blog (and my profession) I shoot with a Canon EOS 30D which is like a third hand to me. I love it but a lot of people prefer a Nikon. Have a look at photos on my blog or photography website to see if it takes photos you like the look of.

    Hope this helps,
    Emma

  13. Thanks for the comment on my blog. It's been a while since I'm active in the blogosphere...anyways:

Like 'The Man...' I use a Canon EOS 400D. But I suggest you should get the 450D if you're planning to buy an affordable good Canon EOS camera. The newer type: 1000D isn't as good and the latest type 500D is too expensive. You'd better off with a semi pro 50D then.

It's also about the type of lens you use. I use a Canon 50mm f/1.8 which can make the same results as a 3000 dollar camera and a bad lens.

Lately I shoot film a lot and at the moment I'm shooting with a 50 year old camera: http://fiveprime.org/hivemind/Tags/olympuspenee

  15. I recently got a Sony A230. I love it, great features, decent price. my favorite feature is the fact that I can switch out my lenses.

  16. I've got a Canon Powershot A470. I bought it a couple years ago for $100 dollars and it works great. Big picture and nice zoom plus video with Canon quality.
